This is BIG!!!! Ok so if you haven't heard about the Nordstrom sale you may be under a rock (just kidding) but no really, it's everywhere this year!! Last week was "early access" for Nordy cardholders but tonight at 12PM public sale begins!!! Its true that many styles have sold out but I'm hoping they'll be restocked tomorrow. The best part of the sale is that almost everything is NEW for next Fall and after August 6th all prices will be going back up. I know its so hard to buy jackets and cashmere when its over 100 degrees outside (I struggle with it every year during sidewalk sales) but you will be kicking yourself come October when you want to buy that pretty cardigan and its full price!

TGIF friends!! This week has been so crazy!! On Monday I shot a bunch of new looks with Brooke for the blog (can't wait to share them with you guys) I've been pretty much playing catch up since then. Have you guys shopped The Outnet before? They're owned by the same parent company as Net-A-Porter and basically serve as Net's outlet. I LOVE it! If I'm ever on the hunt for a client for one of last season's pieces I always start with them and usually have success. Sizes sell out so quickly though so if you like it, BUY IT! I couldn't believe the price of this top and love this one too from the same brand. On the hunt for a certain style that you can't seem to find? I'm here to help!

NORDSTROM EARLY ACCESS PREVIEW

If you have Instagram and have checked it in the last 24hrs you know that Nordstrom is having a sale - a BIG sale. It can be a little confusing but basically right now they are doing what's called "early access" which is for Nordstrom cardholders only. If you don't have or want one now, public access begins on the 21st. I will be posting all my favorites next week but here's a sneak peek :)

I hope everyone is having a great week! We had a little scare last night with baby Harrison but everything is OK now. I can't believe its Memorial Day already! Summer is officially upon us and I am sooo happy. After a long (pregnant!) winter, the sunny days could not come soon enough. We don't have any big plans this weekend but I'm looking forward to getting some things done around the garden and staying local with friends and family.

NEUTRAL SPRING

Is it Friday yet? Monday was my first solo day with Luke (2yrs and 4 months) and baby Beau (14 days) and I'm not going to lie, it was tough! But as the week has progressed its definitely gotten easier and relief from my sister yesterday was key. I have so much respect and admiration for my friends who stay at home...especially with multiple children! Even if you have help it is a non-stop 24/7 job that can often be thankless. BUT, one thing is for sure - motherhood is the most rewarding job I will ever have! 

I loved creating this week's Lust List. I've had my eye on this bike for a while now and it seems as though the company may be going out of business. They're now selling exclusively through Amazon and the bikes are half the price! This top is super pretty and perfect for Spring/Summer. Happy almost Spring! The burst of warmer temperatures in New England has me dreaming of flowy floral dresses and woven totes. I loved working on this post - so many amazing buys right now! Whether you're going away to a warmer climate or just looking for some retail therapy this color palatte will not disappoint!  

Sea and Ulla Johnson are probably two of my favorite designers right now. Their dresses and tops are so easy to wear and not quite as pricey as cult favorite Zimmerman. I'm usually not a huge fan of light blue and I don't love the color on me personally. But...when I saw this See By Chloe dress I was instantly sold! This icy blue-gray color is beautiful and I've been seeing it more and more lately. TREND ALERT for Spring/Summer!

Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? Its my Dad's birthday so it has always been a fun day in my house. I've never really felt the pressure to go out and buy "big" gifts for people but I know that can be a tough feeling especially on the heals of the holidays. I really enjoy the opportunity to tell my family and friends I love them with something small but special.   

Lucky for us most sites have a "Valentine's Day" section if you find yourself searching to no avail. When gifting women I always like to find something I know they wouldn't purchase for themselves. Maybe it was my recent trip down south but I definitely have warmer weather on my mind! I've never had a ton of navy in my wardrobe but I've always loved the nautical look. Working for Ralph Lauren for 7 years will do that to you!

You don't have to know me well to know that I LOVE GRAY! Its my favorite neutral, goes with nearly everything, and is one of the only colors that is season-less. When I decided to do my first "gray" Lust List post I thought it would be so easy but....it wasn't!! So many things to love this season! Check out some of my other top picks:

One of my favorite end of season sales right now is Tibi. This sweater is so yummy and versatile. You can wear it with leather leggings and booties now or white skinny jeans and flats in the Spring. I love this coat too - its the perfect transitional piece for next Fall or this Spring and can be worn day to night!

Am I the only person who LOVES online shopping after Christmas? I always get the best deals on pieces I've had my eye on for the last few months and now that we have our new home, its been great to pick up holiday decor for next year. Here is a round up of my favorite sites and a few must haves on my list!

TERRAIN If you don't know, now you know! One of my favorite stores for an eclectic mix of indoor and outdoor decor. We love visiting them in Westport and eating at their garden cafe. I bought this berry garland for the mantle and our dining table. We didn't have any stocking holders this year so I picked up these. Can't wait to fill them with succulents or mini trees next year! If you're looking for a great deal this rattan serving tray and matching cake stand are perfect for Spring/Summer!

MATCHES This site is one of my favorite websites for fashion and accessories. They always seem to have what I'm looking for and I love perusing the site for inspiration. I ordered this top and this one from SEA. I hope they fit post baby! I love this dress and I can totally see myself wearing it all spring and summer for dinners out or cocktail parties. This ivory poncho turtleneck is a perfect wear-now staple!

Net-A-Porter Up to 70% off is no joke! Love this site for everything. Shopping a big online sale like this one can be overwhelming so usually I search first by my favorite designers and then by category. I love wearing sneakers and since I've had Luke I usually wear them a couple times a week. These Common Projects are the so comfy and this color goes with everything. I have a thing for fisherman sweaters and had to order this one. Also love this and this one.

The holidays are busier than ever for me! With a toddler, full time job, and a baby on the way, I have almost no time to shop for family and friends. I always like to buy one or two special things per person and its nice if they don't break the bank! Finding a great gift under $150 can be tough. I always feel like monogramming something gives it that extra touch. When I found this tray I was shocked at the price! If you're looking for something even more affordable, check out this one which is great for the guy who has everything. 

If I can, I usually try to scope out my favorite websites right before Black Friday and wait till Cyber Monday deals to order everything. I scooped up these fabulous travel sets for the women in my life this year. They're great and a less expensive alternative to the set I posted above but still feel really lux. Herbivore's products are all natural and they smell AMAZING!

Jewelry can be overwhelming to buy for someone especially if they haven't given you a hint. If I do purchase it I usually go for a statement piece that I know can be paired back to a dress or silk blouse for a night out. I love these and these and if you want to splurge, these are on my wishlist. Happy shopping!
