Vogue - Heard of The Social Distance Project? What was just meant to be a note to a few couples suffering while distanvcing went viral and has already raised over $6,000 for charity. Click here to make a donation of $1 (or more) and access quarantine drama and breakup stories…It may actually make you feel better! The lime story had me LOLing.

goop - Get a 5-pack of goop’s goop glow for free with ANY purchase using code GLOW. I love this because its rich in Vitamin C, E, and CoQ10.

Harper’s Bazaar - You’ll be able to stream a bunch of new movies early thanks to social distancing. I’m personally excited for ‘The Hunt’.

The New York Times - Easy recipes to cook while you’re self-quarantined. What I’ve been struggling the most with is lunch for myself. The boys are easy because they eat sandwiches, cheese, yogurts, etc. I don’t eat most dairy or gluten so that makes it really tough and I’m realizing that making an interesting salad every day isn’t as easy as I thought! So until further notice I’ll be living off of smoked salmon and last night’s re-heated leftovers!

small businesses to support this week:

Leallo

This brand is female founded and based in Long Island, NY. I first discovered the brand while strolling through Sag Harbor two years ago. The minute you feel a Leallo piece you instantly fall in love with the fabric. I have this lightening bolt set in gray and it is so cozy. I also love this style in a light off-white color with stars. They’re offering 25% off with code leallolove :)

Strange Bird

I started using Strange Bird about a month ago. I use the serum and moisturizer almost every morning and night and the cleanser only in the evenings. I can tell you from experience that not all natural skincare is created equally! These products smell amazing and they actually work! My skin has been smooth and glowing. Twice a week I use the cleaner as a mask and it has been great for reducing my pores and managing breakouts. Highly recommend Strange Bird! PS it is also female founded and local to CT :) Use code Stephanie15 for 15% off!

spread love - I’ve been so impressed with the way so many brands are stepping up and helping out during this crisis. My friends at Coco & Lala Watch Hill have created these awesome t-shirts (and hoodies) in an effort to spread the message #washhands4grands and also giving back to our community by donating a portion of proceeds to No Kid Hungry.

chain link necklace - I’ve been getting so many questions about my gold chain link necklace. Here is a link to the exact one I have. Monarch Market is an incredible female-founded and local (to CT) small business. If you love this look but are looking for an under 100 version, here is an almost identical one for under $50.

bake this - Have a few older bananas laying around? These days I’ve been working hard to make sure that all of our food gets used especially the fresh produce. We’ve been limiting our grocery runs to once a week so every little bit counts! I love banana bread because its a great alternative to cereal in the morning and it makes things a little more exciting at the beginning of the day!

plant this - Fresh herbs are the new commodity (insert laughing face). No but really! With everyone limiting their trips to the grocery store, buying a bunch of parsley or basil that will wilt overnight just doesn’t seem practical anymore. I just ordered this 9-herb window garden to rescue all of my future quarantine recipes :) I was also thinking it would be a fun project to do with the boys but now selfishly I may do it solo in an effort to prevent cabin fever next week. PS its’s organic!
