who

Vogue - Is farming the most interesting job in America? Meet Kristin Kimball, farmer, mother, best-selling author, and co-owner of Essex Farm in upstate New York. After reading this article she seems like a of super hero of sorts, but despite growth and huge success, they are just one bad crop away from losing it all. Learn about their “full diet” CSA - this is something I’ve been considering more and more for our family. It would save me time, be a benefit to our family’s health, and also support our local farmers.

Harper’s Bazaar - The 35 best TV shows of the 2010’s. I still haven’t seen The Americans but we just finished Watchmen and I highly recommend it.

The Wall Street Journal - The best temperature for a good night’s sleep. Last week on Instagram I shared Frank and my never ending debate over the thermostat. I would love to keep our house between 68-69 while he prefers a cooler 66-67. It seems like a small difference but in our leaky 1920’s home, one degree can feel like I’m traveling from the the arctic to a warm beach (kidding, slightly). But in all seriousness, I was happy to read all of your responses and to find that we’re not the only ones fighting over temperature!

The New Yorker - A review of Greta Gerwig’s Little Women. I can’t wait to see this one.

National Geographic - How Australia’s fires will create problems for drinking water.

what

white shirt - Love the balloon sleeve detailing on this classic style. Pair it with this budget-friendly mom jean for a clean and classic look.

detox - There is always a big push at the beginning of a new year to change our diets, stop drinking alcohol or eating sugar, and to exercise more. But how do we make these changes last and improve our health in the long run? I’ve been following the annual goop detox since 2017. I love it because you’re omitting many of the tigger foods but its still delicious enough to make it a habit. To this day some of my favorite recipes are from previous years and are still in heavy rotation in our house: like this apple cinnamon oatmeal, this lentil and radicchio salmon, and if you’re willing to collect all the ingredients, this turmeric warming latte. Click here for the 2020 detox and five day meal plan.

dressing - I’m giving this its own line even though I’ve already mentioned goop because I don’t want it to get lost in the mix! This dairy-free green goddess dip/dressing is SO GOOD. I always have to pass up on a creamy green dressing because of the yogurt or cream but not this one! Here is a crunchy salad recipe to go with.

travel - The cheapest days to fly in 2020. I’ve been dreaming of going to Paris for our 8 year anniversary this May. Looks like June 3rd might be the best day for it…so helpful!

work essentials - I don’t have an “office” per say and I’m always on the go for work. Over the last year I’ve started to accumulate a few “essentials” that I can’t live without. Frank purchased me the tile last Christmas when I lost my wallet (two weeks before the holiday - not fun) and I can’t live without it now. It helps me find my wallet and also my phone! Other essentials: a cell phone charger, lip balm, pouch for my receipts, and a computer case. I’m still on the hunt for the right 2020 planner if anyone has suggestions!

NATURAL DEODORANTS AND HOW I FIXED MY SMELLY PITS

STEPHANIETROTTA-THEGIRLGUIDE-INNERLIGHT.jpg

a n a t u r a l s o l u t i o n

A little part of me just died of embarrassment typing out the title of this post. In the beginning of the Fall I shared on Instagram my struggles with finding a natural deodorant. None of them worked for me and I was inevitably smelly mid-way through the day. I figured it was just me, my chemistry, and I (and Frank) would have to live with it…forever! When I shared my pain in stories one day last summer, I was shocked at how many responses I received. Almost 1,000 messages with suggestions of natural deodorants that worked for you and also so many messages asking for me to share my findings. I’m so happy I shared…because it led me to this point…smell-free!

Have you ever heard of an armpit detox? I hadn't. Pretty Frank, formally known as Primal Pit Paste makes one and it is incredible. It saved me. The new name makes me laugh…maybe I should pitch Frank to them as their knew spokesman:) Anyway, the way it works is you literally are detoxing your armpits with their baking soda and charcoal deodorant sticks. I did it for three weeks. They also include a primer to calm irritation during the process but I didn’t find it necessary. My only warning re: the process is to be careful when using the charcoal at night - it will stain your light colored clothing.

After the detox it was like magic. I started re-testing all of the natural deodorants I was interested in and they were working! Some better than others, but for the first time I was able to WORK OUT and not smell. I’ve rounded up my top picks below with my favorite being the one from Corpus.

pretty frank (formally primal pit paste)

corpus

I love everything about this one - the packaging, the smell, and most importantly I love that it goes on clear. It also doesn’t stain my white shirts.

native

This was my second favorite. It worked, but I didn’t love the first scent I tried. I do recommend it however if you’re looking to switch to natural.

Agent Nateur - The Holi stick

This is the one I was using (and smelling with) before I did the pit detox. Now? I can wear it no problem. They also make one for Men that Frank uses.

NEW YEAR, SAME ME

December18Stephanie-98.jpg
December18Stephanie-95.jpg

Don’t give up - anything worth fighting for, you have to fight for.

It is never too late to start - take that step, that thing you’ve been wanting to do? step up to it and into it, your future self (in 10 years) will thank you.

If there is anything that this last decade has taught me it is those two things. Ten years ago I was starting over. I had just had what I refer to now as a quarter life crisis and I knew I had to make some big changes. I quit my job, recommitted to my relationship, and was starting fresh. I set goals for myself in both my personal and work life and started at the bottom so to speak. If you told me then that it was going to take ten years to get where I am today I probably would have laughed (and then cried haha)... but it was all worth it.

I’ve had women (and a few men) ask me if I think its too late to start blogging and my answer is no. Is it true that there are more bloggers/influencers now than 5 years ago? Yes of course, but no two people are the same. I truly believe that there will always be room for a new perspective and for a unique voice. It sounds cliche but if you want something bad enough and work for it, in my experience it will happen. It may not be exactly what you first set out to achieve and the path that takes you there may look different than you imagined, but you will get there.

styling

In 2019 I started sharing more about my styling business. How I got here, what I offer, and some of my processes. This year I want to take it a step further and get back to sharing more styling content. I love creating style guides: what to pack, at any age, but to be honest, these collages take so.much.time. to create. Over the next few months I’ll be working on a plan to streamline the way I create these post and hope to be able to make them more frequently. They’re honestly some of my favorite content!

Additionally, I want to start focusing more on seasonal capsules. You all loved my Fall capsule wardrobe! I have ideas on how to expand them into different lifestyles (for example SAHM, office looks, model off duty style, etc.) so stay tuned…

blog

more video - I really love creating video content and it is something that excites me but is also a little scary. Unchartered territory. Thats how I know I need to be doing more of it:) I started my youtube channel last year but it needs a little love:)

pinterest - Using pinterest more and growing an audience on the platform was one of my goals for 2019. I re-discovered it last year and have really enjoyed using it as a creative outlet and also as a source of inspiration.

newsletter

This should be at the top of my list! I’m being 100% transparent here, my goal was to get this done, and up and running by November 1st. I missed it. I don’t know what happened, for some reason it scares me partly because it feels like a big commitment and partly because there has been a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to get it going. But I’m doing it! I will have a newsletter by February. Please subscribe when I do haha!

health

One thing that really hit me last year and specifically over the last 6 months - I don’t take care of myself enough. Sure I eat well, drink green tea, but beyond salads and a basic multi vitamin, I really don’t focus enough on my health. I work an average of 60 hours a week between the blog, Instagram, shooting photos and video, styling clients, and research. The rest of the time I’m doing #momlife and it leaves little time to slow down. If i’m being honest with myself, things are not going to slow down, and actually thats exciting to me….I love what I do. But that being said my health has been suffering. I’m exhausted, I need supplements, probably probiotics, to eat even better, more exercise. I’m not really sure what this will all look like but I’m committed to focusing more on my health in the new year and prioritizing me. There is something to be said for the saying: “put your own oxygen mask on first”.

thank you

Lastly I want to thank you, my readers, from the bottom of my heart. Your messages, your likes, and your support means the world to me. I feel so lucky to have this space and that I get to call this my job. I love hearing from you and my mailbox is always open!

goop - Five beauty resolutions for 2020. I was trying to pick my favorite but they’re all #goals. Going completely clean has been a priority of mine since I had Harrison and I’m always trying to improve. From my skincare to our laundry detergent, to tea bags (!), there is always something:) I always say do the best you can and most importantly try to reduce plastics. This is the soap we have now at our sinks (including the kitchen).

The New York Times - As a condition of her settlement, Gretchen Carlson signed an NDA and has since been silenced from speaking about the details of what happened to her. Before Carlson courageously filed her sexual harassment complaint against Roger Ailes, there was no #metoo movement. She never imagined her story would be turned into a motion picture - Bombshell starring three of Hollywood’s leading actresses. I was shocked when I learned that Gretchen was legally bound from contributing to this film or any others telling her story. Read her opinion piece on why she should be released from her NDA.

Newsweek - Illinois will require insurers to cover diagnostic mammogram follow-ups to initial screenings in 2020. This is an important step in the fight against breast cancer as early detection is key in defeating the disease. When I had a scare last month my initial basic mammogram wasn’t enough and the doctor ordered a 3D mammogram as well as a sonogram. I was told that the 3D mammogram would be an extra out of pocket fee and that neither would likely be covered. I can’t imagine not being able to afford the additional testing and worse, making the decision to not get it because of money.

ELLE - How to spend New Year’s 2020 based on your sign. Mine (Libra) made me laugh because its too accurate - mothering, being present, and a vegan dinner, and some self-care. There is really something to be said for this astrological stuff!

watch - Netflix’s new releases coming in January 2020. We are actually on our way to cancelling “classic cable” in our house. The prices have skyrocketed in the last year and I refuse to pay $250/month for TV and internet in addition to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and now Disney. Wow writing that out really makes it sound even more ridiculous!

read - The best books of 2019 - 35 to be exact. I don’t read books…its TERRIBLE. Honestly, I hate that about myself and I really wish I liked reading, but I don’t. I’ve tried so many times…ordered books people suggested, listened to book podcasts, I get distracted, fall asleep,

recipe - Easy slow-cooker rice pudding. A winter staple in the Trotta house. My boys love it with raisins and a little cinnamon. I sub the dairy milk for a almond or oat milk.

sneaker - Not a fan of the maxi sole sneaker trend? Well here’s a pair that will give you the look without going all the way. Love the olive color for now and into ahem…Spring.

Time Magazine - I know you’re dying to know….what’s on Prince George’s wishlist for Santa this year (or as the Brits refer to him, “Father Christmas”)? Binoculars and an electric car! Click to read more:)

Newsweek - The most annoying travel trends of the last decade. The one that stands out to me the most is the rise of the influencer. I recently read an article about the impact of social media on the US National Parks. The correlation blew me away but it makes sense - for many influencers (especially the travel ones) its all about getting that shot and influencing your following to want to do the same. Which for National Parks, monuments, and other destinations, means an influx of people, and sometimes tragedy. What will this mean for the next decade?

goop - Did you know that depression is linked to heart disease? Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both Men and Women - more than all cancers combined according to this article. Read to find out which risk factors might apply to you.

Harper’s Bazaar - the 10 best movies of 2019. Ummm is it bad that I haven’t seen any of these yet? I guess I’ve been living under a rock. would love to know which one of these films you’ve seen and loved (or didn’t love)!

what

coffee table book - Looking for a last minute gift for her? I LOVE receiving coffee table books as gifts. It is something that I can always use more of but rarely purchase for myself. Tip: make it special by personalizing the inside cover with a little note and the date. I love this new one from Kate Moss and this one from Jenni Kayne never gets old.

recipe - My favorite winter salad recipe. If you’ve been assigned the job of salad this year here is a recipe your host will love! You can easily sub for a different type of cheese or none at all. Tip: Bring the lettuce washed and dried in a covered bowl. Add a piece of paper towel to it to keep the lettuce crisp. Assemble directly before serving beginning with lightly tossing the leaves with about 1/3 of the dressing to taste.

ski sweater - Ski season is almost here! Love this alpaca half zip style for a classic look on and off the slopes. Both styles are under $100 but the gray just went on sale for 50% off.

it bag - Polene. I was first introduced to this brand two summer’s ago in Belgium. I fell in love with their classic style, the number one, but like all big purchases, I had to think about it:) This one wasn’t a big purchase because of the price but rather the fact that I haven’t bought a new handbag in 3 years (I seriously can’t believe that - not counting summer bags) so now the pressure is on haha. Kidding, not kidding. So now I’m patiently awaiting this mini style in black or chalk.

paint - Better Homes & Gardens just some of the top paint colors of 2020 so far. it looks like pink is set to be a popular shade to kick off the next decade! You can see all the colors we used in our house in this post.

face balm - Chapped lips and rosy cheeks have been plaguing our house since November. I finally found something that works, is easy to use, and won’t break the bank. This balm is amazing! Tip: order two! If you have kids you will need one sick stick and one well! Use code holiday20 for 20% off your purchase:)

Time Magazine - Greta - my hero. I’m so happy to see Greta Thunberg as Time Magazine’s Person of the Year. She has proven that no voice is too small. My hope is that 2020 will be the year of climate action. Click here to see her speaking at the United Nations.

New York Times - See How the World’s Most Polluted Air Compares with your City’s. This is scary. I checked Stamford, CT which is the closest to where we live and it said “moderate”. At first I thought that was bad until I started looking up more cities…Philadelphia is “unhealthy for sensitive groups”, and San Diego? “Very unhealthy”. Last month New Delhi hit the “extreme” category.

WHAT

home inspo - Zara has really kicked it up a notch this past year and their Home Collection is no different. Recently they shared a peek inside Amanda Brooks’ countryside home in the Cotswalds. Once the Creative Director of Barneys, Amanda and her husband decided to take a break from the hustle of the big city and moved from NYC to England for a year. They’re still there….wouldn’t you be? Her home is major home inspo. I love the eclectic and lived in look. Shop kitchen items like this garlic shaped terra-cotta jar and this old school Italian coffee pot like my grandparents used to have. It would make a great gift with this spoon clip! This silk eye mask and pillowcase are a great price too.

recipe - A delicious dairy-free chicken marsala recipe by one of my favorites, Giada De Laurentiis.

advent calendar - We have a wooden advent calendar that looks like a big house and I get questions about it all the time. I purchased it from Home Goods a few years ago and I haven’t been able to find a similar style since. Last week I found this one and its amazing! It’s currently backordered but I would suggest ordering it for next year (it might even be on sale after Christmas)!

trend - Toting around big styles seems to be the trend in handbags this season. We started seeing the bigger sizes last summer when trendsetter Jacquemus debuting this life-size woven straw bag. I still love this simple oldie but goodie classic by Celine.

boxwood wreath - Last year I was obsessed with the Trader Joe’s boxwood wreaths. They were under $10 and I ended up using them on every window of our house for the holidays. They were great quality and lasted well into January! This year there is a boxwood blight and all the boxwoods are diseased meaning no wreaths this year (I called Trader Joe’s and they confirmed they wouldn’t have them until 2022!). BUT if you’re looking for a preserved one, I’ve been using this one for a few years now. We also have this mini one:) Store them in a dry place during the year and they’ll last for a long time!

WHO

Man Repeller - A beautiful essay. Three women share their stories and talk about how friendship has changed for them with age. Love this quote, “When you’re my friend, you’re my friend for life. My friendship is unconditional. I take it very seriously”. I feel the same way…quality over quantity when it comes to freindships…I want to be all in with you.

Town & Country - Need something to watch tonight? Click for the best classic Christmas movies of all time. I love Miracle on 34th street and Love Actually.

Harper’s Bazaar - The double standards of parenting we just can’t seem to shake. Do you agree with what this article suggests? That dads are put on pedestals just for showing up? That a mother’s job is never done?

The New York Times - A romance in the most horrific of places. After 72 years they were reunited and he just had one question for her.

WORE

You don’t have to pay retail to carry a designer handbag. Here are some of my top picks from my favorite luxury resellers:

WHAT

curling iron - I finally went ahead and bought this curling iron and so far I love it. I’ve always used a wand that I bought from CVS years ago and after it broke a few week’s ago, I decided it was time for an upgrade. What I love about the T3 is it makes a perfect curl in one shot and also does very well with larger portions of hair. I think I just thought of my next IGTV video!

recipe - Dinner party this holiday season? This is one of the easiest (and tastiest) fish recipes I’ve ever tried. It is made with red snapper which is less “fishy” than salmon making it a better option for a larger group. I like to prepare simple haricots verts (after steaming sauté in a touch of olive oil and chopped shallot) and brown or wild rice on the side. This one is my favorite. For dessert? Make these salted caramel pretzel snickerdoodles for a holiday twist on the classic treat.

paris dreaming - this sweatshirt

silk pillowcase - The slip pillowcase has been at the top of every gift guide for the last two holiday seasons and the trend doesn’t seem to be going away. So is the $85 price tag worth it? I say yes! Not only is it incredibly soft and comfortable, I’ve been using mine for just about a year and I never get sleep marks or lines. I also swear it helps with my hair static. While we’re on the topic of sleeping I’ve been trying to switch from being a side sleeper to a back sleeper. Back is supposed to be so much better for your neck and spine but its been a tough transition. Here is an article about it.

advice - Anna Wintour shares her holiday entertaining tips, favorite traditions, and the worst gift she’s ever received. Her advice on the perfect mother-in-law gift? A framed photograph of your significant other with your MIL. Can’t go wrong!

holiday cards - I ordered our Christmas cards last week and I can’t wait for them to arrive! This is the first time I’m doing black and white and I’m hoping this simple gray letterpress will compliment it very well! Also just saying - we shot the photos for our card almost two months ago and I felt very ahead of the game…until last Monday when I wasn’t anymore #happenseveryyear!

watch - The holidays are the best excuse for becoming a couch potato and binging on your favorite new (or old) shows. I suggested to Frank on Wednesday night that we start watching GOT again from the beginning and he said, “How about we start The Watchman instead?”. Good call. The show is incredible….crazy but so well made and addicting. Here is a list of the 7 TV shows and movies you should be watching RN. I give The Irishman one and a half thumbs up but only because I fell asleep watching it…SO LONG!

mother-in-law gift - Shopping for your mother-in-law can be challenging! I LOVE this cashmere travel set and purchased it for my MIL this year (shhh!). It is 50% off today which makes it under $100 and so luxurious. Not a frequent flyer? Every piece in the set can be used at home too!

my Italian cape - You may have seen me sharing this brand of capes on my Instagram stories over the past year. I was first introduced to Marta Scarampi by a good friend of mine in town. I instantly fell in love with this style handmade in Italy of 100% virgin wool. They’re currently offering gift sets which include a scrunchie or headband to match your cape. who

Net-A-Porter - It’s that 70’s show and shearling is everywhere. I’ve been sharing lots of ways to style it on my IG stories and Pinterest ever since I discovered the sherpa coat from Walmart. This article shares a few other ideas and some insight into one this season’s hottest trends.

Vogue - Ummm, wait what? I was stunned when I saw where Kaia Gerber and Pete Davidson were just spotted “vacationing”! Hillsdale, NY is just a stone’s throw from South Egremont where my parents had a home for the last decade before selling it last year. No one was ever in Hillsdale when I was there haha! I guess I’m not the only one who sees The Berkshires as the perfect winter refuge from the city.

goop - Winter getaways to plan right now. I’ve always wanted to go on a ski-cation out west but that’s just not in the cards this year. I’m thinking maybe two days with Frank in the Hamptons in January. This amazing place has been on my list for a little while now…AESTHETIC GOALS!

Food & Wine - A chef’s secret to the creamiest mashed potatoes…on the fence about this one!

All that glitters and sparkles for your holiday fête…

what

drink of choice - I’m a bourbon/whiskey kind of girl. I don’t know if its the Belgian in me, but I’ve always loved strong woodsy flavors…and beer. Here is a holiday version of my favorite cocktail - a “Morrison” (Moscow) mule.

recipe - OK, ok. I know what you’ll be thinking when you click on this link….”She always shares recipes from Half Baked Harvest!”. I admit it, I do, but she’s that good! Thanksgiving week is always a tough one. Its only Monday night and you’re already feeling like you have to save room for Thursday. Well this 30 minute coq au vin chicken meatballs is worth the space. If mashed potatoes hit too close to home this week, sub brown rice!

clothing rack - I searched high and low when I was looking for a clothing rack to use for shoots and videos. I wanted something that would blend into my clean and neutral aesthetic and wouldn’t break the bank. This one checked all the boxes and is under $50.

tea lover - Have a tea lover in your life? Or maybe you’re one? Here are a few of my favorite tea lover gifts like this cold brew set. This gorgeous gray kettle is a splurge but a lifer and cast iron so you don’t have to worry about boiling water coming into contact with plastic.

lip balm - My favorite lip balm and a great add-on for anyone on your list (men included). This small-batch formula is made of natural ingredients. Linking it via Amazon for easy shipping.

REVIEW: ISABEL MARANT BETH SNEAKERS

isabelmarantsneakers3.JPEG

The Beth Sneaker

I don’t make wardrobe investments on a whim. I usually hem and haw and then mull over it some more. I hate buyers regret and honestly haven’t had it in years which I credit to really taking my time when making a big purchase. I consider $385 on a pair of sneakers a splurge and I became obsessed with these the minute I saw them. I had been looking for something with a velcro and I love Isabel Marant. She is the epitome of effortless Parisian style and I knew I would get a lot of wear out of this “model off duty” style. See below for sizing info and more outfit inspiration. The thing I love the most about the Beth besides the look of them is the tongue of the shoe (the part that touches your skin) is lined in terry cloth making them even more comfortable.

Overall review: they are worth the hefty price tag and are a style that you will enjoy for years to come!

sizing information

My story: I ordered true to size. I’m almost always a size 39 in European sizes. If its a narrow evening shoe I can be a 39.5. The first time I put them on I was like, “Oh no way, these are TOO tight!”. I was SO excited to wear them though and just went for it. They’re made with the softest leather so I guessed that they would stretch some. I also knew that I was never going to wear them with socks. The first two times I wore them they were a little tight and I got a blister on my heel (the story gets better I promise haha). I gave them a break fir a week and just like that, they were perfect! After a few more wears they fit like a glove. The tongue of the shoe is a Terry cloth material and makes them even more comfortable.

Sooo….

If you want to wear them with socks, size up.

If you don’t love them being tight, size down.

* I have a pretty wide foot in the front and bunions (eww - I’m really committed to giving you all the info haha).

Vogue - 7 Tips For Planning a Kids’ Birthday Party Your Fellow Parents Will Appreciate. Honestly, I think children’s birthday parties have gotten a little out of control. I’ll never forget my favorite party as a kid - my mom bought white Keds sneakers for all my friends (there were probably 5 or 6 of us) and we painted them and then had cake. Kids don’t need more than that! Also I should note, it was at home, not at some $700 for two hours play gym. By no means am I knocking that type of party. I’ve done it and spent a pretty penny on our local nature center for Luke * twice * but I’m just putting it out there that maybe the overspending doesn’t matter. It might be as simple as good friends, a craft, and cake!

Harper’s Bazaar - Men have no friends and women bear the burden. This article is an important read. I think about it all the time - the things I get to share with my girlfriends and the important outlet that I have for my emotions that my husband doesn’t have. “Men are taught that feelings are a female thing”, the article goes on to say, and I agree. I do however feel that social media outlets are changing this. More and more men are starting to talk about their depression, struggles with job loss, and overall emotions.

Goop - Goop just launched their gift guides! I always love looking at the goop gift guides because they’re usually over-the-top and fabulous. Personally I’m kind of obsessed with this beautiful coffee maker and I’ve been looking for a pair of blue light blocking glasses and these tortoise shell ones are perfect. OK, I know cosmetic cases are a standard for gift guides but this one is actually really good, under $100, and chic enough to work with anyone’s style.

I popped into the Sezane store yesterday and picked up a dress and a sweater. I’ve shared them both here before and finally decided to pull the trigger. Here are a few other items I loved:

w h a t

friends & family sales - Black Friday starts earlier and earlier every year and this one will be no different. Net-A-Porter and goop are two of my favorite online retailers to shop for splurge-worthy items and they both just announced sales. Friendly reminder to buy pieces that spark joy (LOL but its true) as Marie Kondo would say. Just because something costs less than its original price doesn’t mean its right for you! I love this cape from the goop sale - its timeless and a beautiful nutmeg color.

moisturizer - I was gifted this moisturizer to try last month and I can’t say enough amazing things about it. I was reluctant to change this part of my beauty routine because I’ve been very happy with the one I have, but this plant milk is as good as it sounds. Tammy Fender’s products are made from organic ingredients and smell amazing. A great way to winterize your skincare.

recipe - one of my favorite vegan and gluten free recipes for winter mornings. When the temperatures drop I try to warm things up in the kitchen. This porridge is the perfect solution for a busy weekday or a Sunday morning in. Make it the night before and refrigerate in a glass ball jar. In the morning just re-heat and serve with a dash of cinnamon!

FAQ and a survey - Two things I haven’t chatted about in a little while…call it housekeeping:) First off I wanted to share again that I created this Frequently Asked Questions section on the blog. In it you can find answers to questions like, where my necklaces are from, where I get my hair cut, and the paint colors we used in our house. Second order of business, the Fohr survey. It is an anonymous (if you choose) place where you can share why you like following me and The Girl Guide and a way for me to differentiate myself from others in this space. Brands can view your testimonials and decide if I’m someone who they want to work with based on what you say! It would mean so much to me if you took a few minutes to fill it out. THANK YOU:)
