where to stay - The Marriot, Ghent

why we loved it: location, location, location (and we had Marriott points) no but really its in the heart of the historical area overlooking the canal and picture PERFECT! One note - it is definitely a hotel for business travelers so if you’re looking for a more boutique feel this is not your place. Service was great and we' were upgraded to the Presidential Suite!
